AKA Enters Lower Manhattan With AKA Wall Street
AKA is thrilled to announce the addition of AKA Wall Street, AKA's first downtown location, in lower Manhattan.
Opening in late Autumn 2015, AKA Wall Street will fill a need for luxury furnished accommodations in the Financial District. Specializing in weekly and monthly stays, AKA Wall Street will feature approximately 140 spacious, sophisticated suites and outstanding residential amenities designed around the needs of the longer stay traveler. Combining classic architecture with modern design and efficiency, the building will feature open spaces and an abundance of natural light.
AKA Wall Street’s luxury serviced residences are located on a prime corner in the heart of New York City’s Financial District in lower Manhattan, an exciting neighborhood home to more than 600 technology firms and prestigious media and finance companies including Condé Nast, Nielsen Media Research, HarperCollins Publishers, American Express, and Goldman Sachs.
The revival of this area offers an array of world class cultural, dining and shopping experiences, many of which can be found in Brookfield Place, the venue that will showcase a collection of luxury boutiques, as well as exceptional, chef-driven restaurants, a European-style marketplace, and fabulous waterfront events.
The neighborhood is at the epicenter of a bi-state public transportation hub which will serve as one of the most integrated networks of underground pedestrian connections in New York City, connecting visitors to over 10 different subway lines, 30 bus routes, six ferry landings, bike lanes and landscaped pedestrian walkways.
