The Guggenheim is lucky enough to have collected nearly 110 works from Pablo Picasso, all containing little or no color. Picasso uses the lack of color to highlight the true shape of his structures. This wide array of pieces spans Picasso's entire career, allowing us to experience his growth as an artist first hand. From early monochromatic paintings to gray toned Cubist canvases to elegant nudes this collection truly showcases Picasso's talents.
