Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade
WHEN Thursday, November 22, 2012
WHERE Starts at 20th Street and John F Kennedy Boulevard and weaving its way through the city to Philadelphia Museum of Art
Starting in 1920, the Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade is the oldest in America. This classic American parade features floats (including many characters from Disney and Sesame Street), balloons, celebrities and of course marching bands. Two great hotspots to catch the parade are Logan Circle and The Philadelphia Museum of Art, and if you get there early enough you can even grab a spot on the bleachers.
