In this not so traditional Washington tradition, George Washington stars as the heroic Nutcracker. In addition to the gorgeous set, consisting of swirling snowflakes and prancing cherry blossoms, Tchaikovsky's score beautifully serenades the audience. Once the curtains rise there is no doubt as to why this production has always drawn sold-out crowds and raving critics.
