31st Annual Philadelphia Film Festival
Hosted by the Philadelphia Film Society, the Film Festival is dedicated to bringing together film lovers and makers, to present more than 100 of the year’s most acclaimed and critical films. There will be VIP receptions and panel discussions, a timeline of events will be posted on the Film Society’s website.
Head of the Schuylkill Regatta
The 2022 Head of the Schuylkill Regatta will continue a tradition of exceptional fall racing that began fifty years ago in the home of American rowing. While the expansive scope of the two-day Regatta today bears little resemblance to its 1970 roots, the spirit of the Regatta endures: a fall race showcasing high-caliber crews as well as those new to the sport.
The scenic Philadelphia course will host over 30,000 athletes as they participate in on of the top marathons in the country. Other races and events taking place over the historic weekend include a half marathon, 8K, kids fun run, and a Health & Fitness Expo.
